Leshaunda Mojeed, Resident in Counseling
With a deep passion for mental health and personal growth, Leshaunda is a dedicated Resident in Counseling committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward personal healing and self-awareness. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults helping them overcome anxiety, depression, and behavior/relationship issues using compassionate and evidence-based approaches.
Leshaunda holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is currently working under supervision to obtain full licensure. Prior to pursuing counseling, Leshaunda served as an officer in the Military, where she nurtured her passion for helping others navigate life’s difficulties. Her counseling philosophy is rooted in the belief that every life has meaning, and she applies cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and narrative therapy to create a safe and judgement-free zone for clients to explore their emotions and build resilience.
Passionate about helping individuals embrace a life of healthy and meaningful relationships with themselves and others, Leshaunda believes in fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic alliance with her clients to achieve this end.
When not working with clients, Leshaunda enjoys reading, event planning and spending time with her family to help her maintain a balanced and fulfilling life.
